Fiesta de Carnaval
Uno de los momentos más esperados por todos los uruguayos es "el Carnaval". Es el tiempo donde las calles del pais se visten de colores y música al ritmo del candombe y los tablados se llenan de algarabia. Para no perder esa alegria con el invierno canadiense La Magia organizo una fiesta carnavalesca en Toronto; un espectaculo para celebrar esta tradición.
One of the most anticipated moments for all Uruguayans is "the Carnival". It is the time when the streets of the country are dressed in colors and music to the rhythm of the candombe and the tablados are full of joy.
Not to lose that joy with the Canadian winter La Magia organized a carnival party in Toronto; a show to celebrate this tradition.

Documentary "La Mama Vieja - a Toronto Candombe Story"
La Mama Vieja - is Canadian short documentary created by film director Femi Agbayewa that seek to tell the story about the Afro Uruguayan iconic persona of Irma Barboza – The original Mama Vieja in Canada and the Uruguayan-Candombe community in Toronto.
